Assistant Accountant Audit

Are you an analytically strong financial professional with experience in Audit? Do you want to specialize further in audit practice and make an impact at diverse organizations? We are looking for an accurate and driven Assistant Accountant Audit to strengthen our audit team.

In this role, you focus entirely on statutory and voluntary audit engagements. You work closely with audit leads, auditors, and RA colleagues, and are intensively involved in the entire audit process for various clients.

Your responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, planning, and execution of audit engagements for medium-sized and large organizations.

• Assessing the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of internal controls and processes.

• Performing analytical procedures and substantive audit testing on financial statements.

• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients during audit work on-site or remotely.

• Identifying bottlenecks in administrative processes and contributing to audit files.

What do we ask of you?

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the audit practice (Audit) of an accounting firm.

• A completed Higher Professional Education (HBO) or Academic (WO) degree in Accountancy, Business Economics, or Finance & Control (or studying towards the RA qualification).

• Thorough knowledge of audit techniques and relevant laws and regulations (NL GAAP / IFRS).

• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

• A critical mindset, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of teamwork.
